Petromin Energy and Lulu Sign Strategic Partnership to develop 10 SWFT convenience stores in Saudi Arabia

Jeddah: Petromin Energy, a leading Saudi-origin energy and mobility company under Al-Dabbagh Group, and Lulu, one of the region’s leading retail chains, today signed a Strategic Partnership agreement to develop 10 SWFT convenience stores by Lulu at Petromin’s gas station locations across the Kingdom. Under the agreement, six stores will open in Jeddah and four in Riyadh, marking a significant step in the expansion of Lulu’s convenience retail footprint through strategic collaboration with one of Saudi Arabia’s most established mobility and energy providers.

The signing ceremony was held in Jeddah in the presence of Amr Al-Dabbagh, Chairman of Al-Dabbagh Group and Yusuffali M.A, Chairman of Lulu Group. The agreement was signed by Mohammed Haris, Director of Lulu Hypermarkets KSA, and Amit Wankhede, CEO of Petromin Energy.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives from both organizations underscored the shared vision behind the partnership bringing trusted, convenient retail experiences closer to motorists and communities across the Kingdom while supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals around retail innovation, mobility, and everyday convenience.

Petromin Energy operates an extensive network of fuel stations across Saudi Arabia, positioning it as an ideal strategic partner for this expansion. Beyond the planned locations, both Petromin Energy and LuLu have expressed high interest in exploring further collaboration at additional fuel station sites across the Kingdom, reflecting the potential for continued expansion of the SWFT by LuLu concept as both companies seek to strengthen their presence across the Kingdom’s retail and mobility landscape.
